The results of the 2022 Nobel Prize in Chemistry

[United Nations WIBDC] New York, United States,The Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences announced on Oct 5 that it has awarded the 2022 Nobel Prize in Chemistry to US scientists Caroline Bertozzi and Carl Barry Shaplis and Danish scientist Morten Meldahl for their contributions to the development of click chemistry and bioorthogonal chemistry.Among them, Shaplis won the 2001 Nobel Prize in chemistry.

Three winners

Bertozzi: Born in 1966 in the United States, he is now a professor at Stanford University

Shaplis: Born in 1941 in the United States, he now works at the Scripps Research Institute in the United States and won the 2001 Nobel Prize in Chemistry

Meldahl: Born in Denmark in 1954, he is now a professor at the University of Copenhagen, Denmark
